Central Jakarta Mayor Held a Raid in Senen Market

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede is leading a raid in Senen Market, Wednesday (10/21) morning. Several food samples and meat are confiscated to be further examined whether it contains harmful substances or not.

The raid will certainly conduct to markets in Central Jakarta. I’ll appeal residents not to shop in unhealthy market

 

Accompanied with joint team from Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department, Satpol PP and lab examiner, Pardede arrived in the market at 6.30 AM directly towards Block 3.

Food Containing Borax Found in School Canteen

 

Pardede stated that this raid is the fourth times. It is because the indicator to determine healthy market is by conducting examination for five times.

 

“There is no food containing harm substances in the first and third raid. For this time raid we haven’t know its result while still await its laboratory result,” he expressed.

 

According to him, raid will conduct in the whole markets in Central Jakarta. If the harmful substances are found in a market for many times, it will be marked as unhealthy market.

 

“The raid will certainly conduct to markets in Central Jakarta. I’ll appeal residents not to shop in unhealthy market,” he asserted.
